MISSION, VISION AND VALUE STATEMENTS

Mission (Why we exist)
  • Our Mission is to Glorify God by Making Disciples that will Represent Jesus to the World.
(1 Corinthians 10:31, Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, Proverbs 1:7, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:1-2, Titus 2:3-8, 2 Corinthians 5:17-22, Philippians 1:27-30)

Strategy (For us to accomplish our mission)

  • Look Up: We want our relationship with God to be changing us to be more like Jesus

  • Lean In: We want our relationships with friends, family, and church family to be strong and healthy
  •
  • Reach Out: We desire to serve and love all people and help them know and grow in Jesus.
(Micah 6:6-8, Luke 9:1-14, Psalm 1, Hebrews 12:2, Ephesians 4:32-5:2, Colossians 3:12-17, Acts 2:43-45, 1 John 4:7, Matthew 5:13-16, Romans 10:14-15)

Vision: (What do we want to see in our community)

  • A Hospital: We want to be a place for people who are physically, emotionally, and spiritual hurting to come and find healing and rest.

  • A Family: We want to a community of people untied by the love of Jesus and love for each other.

  • An Army: We want to be a church on a mission for Jesus to make the Earth more like Heaven.
(Matthew 11:28-30, Acts 2:43-45, Acts 4:32-37, Psalm 110:1-4, 1 Peter 2:9-10)

Value (Guide decision making as a Church)
  • Jesus is Lord (Ps 103:19, Ephesians 1:20-23, Matthew 28:18-20, Psalm 2, Psalm 110).
  • Jesus is King of King and Lord of Lords. He is who we serve and are trying to please

  • Think and do everything Biblically (1 Corinthians 10:31, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:19-20)
  • The Bible beginning to end is God's word and is our final authority

  • Prayer  (Matthew 6:9-13, John 15:16, 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 1 John 2:1-2 Hebrews 4:15)
  • Without God's power, wisdom, guidance, knowledge, and help we can't do anything

  • “Mercy rather than Sacrifice” (Matthew 5:23-24, Mark 3:1-6; Hosea 6:6)
  • The religious hypocrites in Jesus' day cared more about traditions then loving people; we want to be known by love

  • Doing for and Being with God (Exodus 20:8-11, Psalm 46:10, John 15:1-11, Luke 10:38-42)
  • Jesus wants everyone to serve Him but always be in relationship with Him

  • Stewardship of Resources (Acts 5:1-11, Malachi 3:8, Hebrews 2:10, Psalm 24:1–2, James 1:17; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Deuteronomy 8:18; 2 Corinthians 9:10-11)
  • Everything we have is God's and therefore we want to honor all He blesses us with.

  • 167 Hours (Exodus 23:25, Deuteronomy 6:13, Joshua 22:5, Psalm 34:1-15, Hosea 6:6, Matthew 4:10, Ephesians 4:15-21)
  • There are 167 hours in a weekend outside of Sunday service and we want all of our lives to be all about Jesus, not just 1 hour on Sundays.
