When is service?: We meet at 10am Sunday Mornings. Please check our social media pages by 8:15/8:30am on Sunday morning if we need to cancel due to weather
Where is the church?: Our address is 789 Craigville Road Chester, NY 10918
Where do I park?: There is a parking lot right in front of the church for visitors, families and handicap parking. There is additional parking across the street and in a cul de sac to the right of the church.
What if I am not a Christian or come from a different Christian tradition?: That's OK! We are welcoming to all, no matter what you believe.
Is there a dress code?: Nope! Some people dress up, some people wear hoodies and jeans. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
What about people with children?: Jesus loves children and so do we! Right now we have all children in service with us during worship. We love having kids worship with us, noise and all! We use a video series from Crossway Publishing called "The Biggest Story" and show a short theological video for the kids during service. We also have a "Kids Corner" area where kids of all ages can grab some coloring books, fidgets and more so they can be engaged during service.
Do I have to give an offering?: Absolutely not! There is no pressure to give.
What kind of music is used to worship?: We sing both traditional hymns and play current worship music with a full band.
How long is the sermon/what is preached?: Sermons usually last 25 mins. We usually preach through books of the Bible and try to connect the dots between doctrine, life and faith.
Can I attend even if I don't believe everything the church believes?: Of course! We understand that there are things even Christians disagree about and we are still a family. Wherever you're at, or whatever you believe, we want you to come and feel welcome to have your life transformed by Jesus, the Son of God.
I like drinking coffee/tea in the morning. Can I bring my drink into the sanctuary?: Of Course! (You should see how much coffee Pastor John drinks in a day) Just please make sure there is a lid on your drink.
